Global Tea Hut Videos

We love sharing Tea. We share tea sessions in Taiwan and abroad. We send out teas to over 30 countries around the world every month. And now, we're sharing Tea Wisdom with all of you lovely people over the Internet with a new series of tea videos about each issue of Global Tea Hut.

You may have seen our YouTube video channel before. If not, take a little time to explore it and deepen your journey into the way of tea.

The July 2014 Global Tea Hut video features Wu De and our newest Hut resident, Max. They talk about this month's magazine and tea, drink tea together and share about the Hut's recent trip to Yunnan, China.

Each month, we'll post another video about that month's Global Tea Hut issue, so if you're ready to learn more, look out for them on our YouTube Channel around the same time as your envelopes show up in the mail.

Wanna know more about the Global Tea Hut videos? Cool.

If you haven't subscribed to Global Tea Hut yet, check out the What is Global Tea Hut? video first. It will explain what we do and how it benefits you, tea farmers and the environment.

If you already know what Global Tea Hut is all about, we recommend the videos on Bowl Tea, Boiled Tea and Side-handle Pot Tea to help you learn more about these three tea brewing methods.

And if you want to learn more about what Global Tea Hut helps do in Taiwan, watch the Light Meets Life Intro video. You'll be amazed at what's going on these days!

Happy viewing!

Wishing you joy and wisdom in each sip,
The Global Tea Hut family

Wu De carefully packing July's Global Tea Hut tea (which, SPOILER ALERT, we made by hand ourselves with the help of a few fellow travelers during our Yunnan trip)

A Buddha watching over the whole process (and especially over that Shane McPhane guy... gotta keep an eye on him)

Still haven't subscribed? It may not be too late! We'll continue sending out July issues until the end of July. You can subscribe here.

Love Tea Photos?

Check us out on Instagram @GlobalTeaHut. We're sharing extra photos of tea sessions around the world, our happenings at the Hut and much more.

You may notice that a lot of the images were shot in Taiwan, California and Russia. Part of that is simply that we have a lot of active participants in those areas, and it's partly because those areas are especially active on Instagram. However, we'd love to get more photos of Global Tea Hut tea sessions from elsewhere in the world.

If you're a Global Tea Hut member and you have photos of your tea sessions to share, you can send them to us through Facebook or email us at globalteahut @ gmail . com. Be sure to let us know where the photo was taken--that local, personal flavor is part of what makes these photos so amazing!

Visiting Taiwan

One of the really amazing things about Global Tea Hut is how much it supports our tea center in Taiwan. At the tea center (which is called Tea Sage Hut), we work on a lot of different projects, such as mailing out Global Tea Hut each month, studying tea, serving tea for free to passersby and promoting organic tea. And one of our major activities here is hosting hundreds of tea lovers each year.

Right now, we're hosting two guests from Russia (one of whom helps run a sister center in Moscow and who is pictured here), a guest from Toronto who just recently fell in love with Global Tea Hut and Petr Novak, a Czech potter with great tea spirit who has supported what we do here for a long time through his craft.

Guests at Tea Sage Hut have the opportunity to participate in many tea sessions, to hand-roll their own tea, to brew side-handle pot tea, bowl tea and gong fu tea, to hear lectures on tea and related topics, to visit tea and tea ware shops and much, much more.

If you're interested in visiting us, check out the experiences of other visitors and contact us for more information. We hope to share tea with you here sometime!
